CEA complies with the requirements of the California Education Code to obtain clearance from the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for all NPA/NPS employees and volunteers until CEA determines that the volunteer will have no contact with the Charter LEA students.

Case Worker:

General Summary: The primary role of the Case Worker is to serve as the liaison between the agency and families and our partner organizations. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct all Intake meetings with clients and families to assess specific health and wellness needs Maintain records of all surveys, conversations, assessments or referrals needed for each family Serve as referral agent for client and families for all services related to the medical, dental, mental health and socioemotional needs of clients and families Make recommendations for services to clients and families based upon feedback and conversations conducted Make phone calls to partner organizations to detail the specific needs of a client or family, Maintain files of pamphlets, flyers and other informational guides on all partner organizations to distribute to clients and families Schedule regular follow up meetings with clients and families upon issuing a referral to ensure service was provided or need met Communicate all needs not supported by current partner organizations to Counselor Make recommendations for Wellness Program improvement Maintain cleanliness and order of food pantry and clothing Support annual outreach events, including Thanksgiving Dinner and Christmas Toy Drive Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to follow direction in a fast‐paced environment Ability to effectively communicate with students, families and partner organizations Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Office Manager or Receptionist:

General Summary: Oversee the logistics and management, serve as a point of contact between the Contractors and Cde.

Primary Responsibilities: Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement. Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures. Measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees. following up on work results. Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports. summarizing information; identifying trends. Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Counselor /PS:

General Summary: coordinates special education services for students with disabilities and services as interim counselor. Note: this position is required to comply with all FERPA General Guidance for clients. Parents and students will have access to student files, in accordance with FERPA guidance.

Primary Responsibilities: Oversee the coordination of special education services to students with IEPs Conduct assessments for special education services and oversee the implementation of Clients’ IEPs Coordinate data and preparation of reports to monitor the provision and effectiveness of related services, Works with staff to ensure that special education laws (e.g., Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and regulations are being implemented, Coordinate, plans, and implements professional development for related services Providers and Subcontractors Coordinate the provision of related services and documentation of Medi‐Cal reimbursable services. Supervises related services personnel to ensure compliance with special education laws and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Understanding of general education instruction and inclusion of special education services. Understand the laws and regulations surrounding the implementation of special education and related services Knowledge of federal, state, and local policies, rules, laws, regulations, and legislation pertaining to special education including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the Modified Consent Decree. Ability to manage several IEPs and the coordination of multiple service providers Ability to communicate effective to parents and staff Ability to effectively work and support general education teaching staff Knowledge of special education curricula, staff professional development and special education instructional strategies Excellent written and oral communication.

Program Director:

General Summary: The primary function of the Program Director is to oversee all programs at Crenshaw, including the Wellness Program, outreach support, online programs, special education and enrichment and summer programs.

Meet with potential partners, medical providers, non‐profits and individuals service the low‐income population. Develop and administer surveys to families upon enrollment Maintain Clients files and history of services Provide referrals to clients and families related to health and wellness as needed Follow up on referral services with clients and families Arrange special workshops, activities, camps and other programs throughout the school year and summer months. Meet with every client and family to assess their needs, manage data on the client’s health and nutrition needs, progress and goals, set goals related to health and nutrition for the agency. Manage all health and wellness programs including, but not limited to, workshops for clients and parents, and other events facility tours, organizations and social services providers to examine best practices for administering health and wellness services. Identify new partners and establish relationships. Manage case workers assigned to each family.

Tutor:

General Summary: The primary role of the Special education specialist is to support Teachers with the facilitation of instruction to all school aged clients.

Primary Responsibilities: Provide instructional support for teachers. Prepare presentations Work one‐on‐one, in small groups or with the whole class on specific content areas or skills. Review and reinforce IEP goals. Grade tests and papers, check homework, take attendance and implement assessments. Support the Counselor/Special Education Coordinator in attending to the physical needs of students with disabilities, Knowledge, Skills and abilities. Knowledge of instructional strategies used with each client’s special need.

Special education specialist:

General Summary: Creates IEP plans and behavioral plans, differentiates instruction and evaluates client assessment data regularly to assess progress.

Primary Responsibilities: Regularly review client data and adjust lessons plans and instructional strategies to the needs of the client Plan, prepare and deliver activities and materials. Create positive climate for clients to improve in. Meet performance goals. Conduct home visits for clients as needed and maintain open communication with families throughout the year. Participate in ongoing professional development supplemental curricula, real world preparation, diversity awareness. Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year. Maintain grade books and other administrative duties as needed. Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans. Develop professional relationships with other agencies health, dental, housing and nonprofit organizations and programs. Work with the Program Director to ensure initiatives are being met. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all service providers. Observe and evaluate client’s performance. Manage client’s behavior invoking approved disciplinary procedures and plans as needed.

Knowledge, skills and abilities: Base qualifications and general assurance that they will be appropriately credentialed for specified special needs and program specialist, includes roles and responsibilities Sped, EL Authorizations and CLAD Credentials, if appropriate

Content Creator:

General Summary: produce entertaining or educational material and are responsible for the contribution of information to any media. create both digital media and offline content that caters to the interests of a target audience A Content Creator’s various tasks include writing articles for a company’s web pages e-books, videos, and social media posts. He/she should also be adept at promoting content on social media. To be a successful Content Creator, one should be familiar with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new businesses.

Primary Responsibilities: Research on industry-related topics, zoom and online services maintenance, create various content types (videos, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides, utilize various digital publishing platforms to create structured drafts. Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics, Incorporate blog and social media posts in both websites and social media platforms like Facebook or LinkedIn. Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content. Analyze web traffic to measure the success of the content (e.g., conversion and bounce rates

Certified Public Accountant :

General Summary: Certified Public Accountant Duties. Examine Financial Records: CPAs analyze financial records to prepare tax returns, create budget reports, and conduct audits for their clients. These accountants ensure that financial records comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Maintain and audit company financial records.

Primary Responsibilities: Oversee budget and financial management. Perform duties related to bookkeeping, preparation of government audits, taxes, and financial planning. Recommend fiscally advantageous methods to save money. Work with tax returns and analyze financial information to ensure taxes are paid on time. Audit accounts for errors, misinformation, fraud, and overspending. Report financial information to management. Create and analyze budgets. Advise management on tax ramifications of business decisions Act as a consultant in areas such as compensation, benefits, and asset protection. Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
