C.E.A ENROLLMENT AND IEP

Crenshaw Entrepreneurial Academy a California Department of Education approved Non-Public Agency. What does this mean?

A non-public Agency , Crenshaw Entrepreneurial Academy is accredited by the California Department of Education. Kindergarten through 12th grade educational services are available to boys and girls, ages 5 to 22, who meet the eligibility criteria for falling behind in a regular classroom setting due to the set backs of Covid-19 , learning delay or emotionally challenged.

Crenshaw Entrepreneurial Academy works in partnership with school districts and parents to determine the best educational path for students. The Individual Education Plan (IEP) teams from the various school districts contracting with the Haynes Education Center help to determine placement at our school.

The enrollment process includes a tour of the campus, submission of an application, an interview with the student and his/her parent or guardian, and a review of the educational and related records by our admissions office.

If admission is endorsed, your child’s school district will issue an individual service contract covering the services to be provided, in compliance with the education code regarding timelines and content.
